The Northwall Wilderness

The Northwall Wilderness

A vast coniferous wilderness, the Northwall is split into three portions by the mighty Deymourne Mountains. From this division, derive the Solician Forest of northern Endorna, the humanoid infested woods of the Morrowind, and the Northwall Wilderness proper.

The Northwall is home to numerous tribes and clans of barbarian peoples, degenerate ancestors of the Dorne folk who were separated from the rest of the fleets and landed alone in the northern wilds. Also, a great many Jotun folk (Giants and Goliath) roam the rugged slopes and pine forest, warring with one another for hunting grounds and sport alike.

It is separated from the civilized lands of Endorna by a great wall of stone that rises from the peaks of the Deymournes in the east to the very shores of the Sargath Sea at the mouth of the New Tyruss delta. Known as “Northwall”, it was built early in the Kalidorian occupation of the region, and is said to have been built with as much prayer and divine magic as the blood of slaves who worked themselves to death constructing it.

Great northern elk, massive deer, dire wolves, and bears roam these woods.
